There’s so much love about this aside from the Sookie dream parallels. Interesting that Eric chooses to stick around after the deed. The moment starts with them lying together, while he gently caresses her. He takes time with her and talks to her. He tells her that what she does is honest. He conveys a respect for her. This should be nothing more than a sexual interlude, but it feels like more. There is something gentlemanly about him. 

Eric doesn’t shout it from the rooftops. These wonderful things we learn about him are revealed through what he does, big and small, and not by what he says.  The same goes for Bill, as well.  While he does love to shout from the rooftops, what we learn about him is very much through what we see. Most things that come out of his mouth belies what he actually does.

Quiet affection in every touch and every word.

i fell in love with Eric all over again. Perfect flashback, for many reasons. :)
